Research at the Gustaf Dalman Institut

One can explore the contents of the Institute library online either via the OPAC catalog of the Greifswald university library or by downloading a list of the Institute authors from our website. Approximately 500 objects of either cultural-historical or natural-historical interest and approximately 4,500 historical photographs can be viewed on a university internet-portal dedicated to scientific collections (Wissenschaftliche Sammlungen). Additional historical photographs are being continually digitalized and prepared for upload to the site. In addition, guided tours of the Institute are offered regularly and can also be arranged on an individual basis.
